Andre works and lives in Lisbon, where he has been working as a cultural producer since 2006, doing exhibitions, screenings, performative events and festivals, both as an independent cultural producer and educational programmer for the arts.
He collaborates since 2006 with Número – Arte e Cultura, as one of its artistic and general programers. André is responsible for production, curation and programming of various of its national and international cultural events, and he is responsible for its educational section. André is a member and collaborator of ZDB – Cultural Association Zé dos Bois since 1997. Between 2002 and 2007 he was part of the board of ZDB's association, having performed various functions in it, such as producer of exhibitions. In 2005 and until 2007, he co-founded and became responsible for ZDB’s Educational Service entitled “Sé da ZDB” which was a project aiming to sensibilise the general public towards contemporary art.
André also collaborates regularly with various other Portuguese cultural associations such as Fórum Dança, P28, Maus Hábitos and with Foundations and Institutions.
